Stavros Tasiopoulos holds three post-graduate degrees (LLM Public Law & Political Science, MSc Environmental Governance & Sustainable Development,
LLM International & European Energy Law) and he is a PhD (c) in Public Law at the University of Athens.
His occupation is legal and policy advice, policy design and implementation with main concerns relating with public administration, sustainable development, human rights, open government, public law and energy law.
Working with the Greek Government as a Scientific Adviser in issues dealing with reforms and development in the Public Sector, he has represented Greece at the OECD and is a member of the Project Team on Open Government, designing the 3rd National Action Plan.
Also he is active member of the civil society, as Secretary General of the Hellenic Organisation of Political Scientists, member of the Hellenic Society of Environmental Law, honored member of Association of highly succeeded Greek athletes and elected 2014-2019) municipal councilor at the municipality of Egaleo.
